Bogdan Dziworski
Born on the 8th of December 1941 in Łódź. One of the most important figures of Polish documentary film, cameraman, director, screenwriter, photographer, professor of film art and fine-art photography. He worked with the greatest minds of Polish cinema, with time becoming one of them himself. He graduated from the Leon Schiller Theatre and Film School in Łódź (now PWSFTViT). Cameraman for Polska Kronika Filmowa, he also worked for Wytwórna Filmów Oświatowych in Łódź and for Przedsiębiorstwo Realizacji Filmów “Zespoły Filmowe” in Warsaw. Dean of the Radio and TV Department at Krzysztof Kieślowski’s Silesian University in Katowice. Winner of many prestigious awards, author of over fifty films, as well as numerous exhibitions and photo albums.

A documentary created together with Zbigniew Rybczyński (before he was awarded an Oscar) and Gerald Kargl. The film's protagonist is Franz Klammer, Austrian skier, one of the sport icons of the seventies. The film is an example of the so-called creational documentary.
