The film is a 25-minute poetic impression to the music of Paweł Kornicz, a composer from Szczecin. The motto is to search for the wild nature of the white-tailed eagle in human. It is a kind of reversal of the traditional concept of perceiving this bird as a symbol in which we see “human” qualities, such as bravery, courage, loyalty and authority. The authors of the film, and above all – the actors, discover the animal predator, wildness, instinct, as well as sexual drive and sexuality in a man with the song of a white-tailed eagle. The most important artistic expression in this film is the dance. There are about 50 actors in the film. In the natural setting we will see, among others, members of the Gamelan Percussion Orchestra and many choristers.

The consequences of those horrors ended up with extinguishing the spark of development and plunging the population into total darkness, in which they have been living since 1992. The lack of stable light supply is a major constraint for the development of medical work, directly affecting the life expectancy of Sierra Leone people. The images obtained are part of the reality encountered at the hospital wardens in the Koinadugu district.

With texts by Hans-Eckardt Wenzel, who is mainly known as a songwriter, and compositions by Lutz Glandien, the two tubers of the Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Berlin Symphony Orchestra toured the clubs and cabarets of the then shaky GDR. Taking on a dangerous challenge, Plenert and Foth filmed an 11-minute movie on the rooftop opposite the Church of Gethsemane on a weekend in October 1988. As the pre-draft dialogue track contained the word “peace,” the film was not released for distribution until January 1989, when the GDR phrase was replaced with another. Nevertheless, “Tuba Wa Duo” was not displayed once in the remaining 10 months of the existence of the GDR.
