Nicole Vögele
Nicole Vögele, born in 1983, grew up on the unexciting Swiss Central Plateau and now lives in unexciting Stuttgart, and occasionally in Zurich. She had no high-school diploma, just commercial training. Despite completing this successfully, she soon switched to journalism. From 2002-2006 she was a reporter for the TV magazine programme „CASH-TV“ on the Swiss channel SF2, while studying for a diploma at the Swiss School of Journalism MAZ. From 2007-2010 she worked as editor for the news magazine «10vor10» on SF1. It was with Swiss TV that she made her first documentary film, and was bitten by the bug. She turned her back on editing, became a freelance journalist and in 2010 enrolled for a course at the Film Academy of Baden-Württemberg: in Documentary Film Direction.
