Filmy poprzednich edycji
- Bez marzeń27’
"Bez marzeń" depicts one day in Maria's life, but during this one day she experiences her entire life. Maria lives on the memories of pre-war Poland, her childhood in a labour camp and adult years in a communist country.
- Biała Dama – Projekt Hubas4’14”
The music video's main character is a young man, looking for himself somewhere between nature and the casino, joy and disappointment, emotion and loneliness... Circling between the two White Ladies from the title, he is searching for balance. The clip is a somewhat abstract story, leaving for the viewer a riddle to solve. The whole is embellished with a great cast, beautiful landscapes, high image quality and, above all, a fantastic song by HUBAS.
- Cosmic Joe9’26”
This short documentary is a meditative journey through the cosmic philosophy of Joe Staunton – poet and musician living at the foot of Burren, in a place called New Line. Joe opens a window into his private life in a small cosy camper, he spends time with us and invites us to reflect on our responsibility and influence on the creation of a friendly, pleasant world.
“Cosmic Joe” loosely touches contemporary problems caused by the wave of immigrants and refugees, it prompts us to reflect on the absurdity of the idea of borders and makes us aware of the responsibility resulting from freedom, which we all so much desire. Not in the form of dogmatic propaganda, however, but rather as a casual, free conversation in the bosom of nature.
- Discord4’48”
The film “Discord” is a deconstruction of time and space. By changing their location, everyday activities move to a different plane. Control over the passage of time becomes generally available. Things which have so far been considered by impossible become possible. Fixing mistakes from the past seems to be much simpler than before. Will the main character succeed in influencing her past, thereby changing the future?
- Droga powrotna23’
The film tells the story of Eric, an 18-year-old who goes through a trial period at an addiction treatment centre. The test will determine his admission to the Monar community. Erik is not sure whether he will be able to stay at the centre and start the therapy. However, he promised his mother that he would start treatment.
- Nightmare10’09”
A man, living alone, begins to experience disturbing hallucinations. Sleep and reality are mixed up and he can't tell the difference between what's real and what's the product of the imagination.
- Rzeczny blues z 1929 r.3’50”
The whole clip is kept in the animation aesthetic of Monty Python. The collage technique refers to old engravings and illustrations in a subdued range of colours. The appearing creatures' appearance is unobvious, deviating from both the sweet Disney types and the designer ones from contemporary cartoons. Simple narrative, providing the viewer with an insight into the unexplored and mysterious world hidden beneath the surface of the rivers' waters. The clue – the encounter of the two worlds, underwater and terrestrial, makes it possible for them to learn from one another, get to know each other and appreciate the wealth of their immediate surroundings.
- Samotny
For three years Henryk has been living in a homeless shelter. He keeps his distance from other residents of the resort. He dreams about winning the lottery so that he could go to see his daughter.
- Sex na emeryturze
It is a story on a given topic, produced by a group of seniors under the supervision of Anna Wiśniewska and Krzysiek Kuźnicki. Among their colleagues, the seniors were looking for an answer to whether there is sex in retirement.
The answer is in the film – but the answer probably isn't the point. It is rather that this film, made by seniors, is not aimed solely at their peers but the entire human population because it tells us that desires and thoughts associated with the corporeality are the same as in young people. - Tempus Fugit. Szczecińskie Berżeretki kilka lat później27’30’’
„Tempus Fugit” tells a reunion story of a group of singers, 55 years after adopting their name 'Berzeretki'. Mature ladies, just like years ago, rent theatrical costumes, and sing their musical repertoire. In chaotic discussions they recall what impact the first youthful music attempts, and meeting their guru – John Szyrocki had on their young lives. From their intonation, gestures, facial expression, reactions and behavior an endless joy can be felt, even though a great deal of time has passed.
- Tutaj
The hero of the story shall be quite inconspicuous, as on a daily basis it does not draw our particular attention. It just is. It surrounds us, being a witness of who we are. Szczecin – because that's what we're talking about – plays the leading part in this story.
- Wycinka
The film tells the story of actors of the Polski Theatre in Wrocław, who have been struggling with the institution's new director for over a year. It focuses on five heroes faced with being dismissed from a workplace to which they have been dedicated for the years. Instead of acting on stage, they now spend their time protesting in the streets. The state of constant rebellion also affected their personal lives. It turns out that the Polski Theatre in Wrocław is not the only cultural institution in Poland that has to face a similar problem.
