The Boundaries of Cinema
Boundaries of Cinema is an innovative approach to contemporary film art, a multi-faceted study of genre and thematic boundaries. The section was created during a series of discussions and meetings with Tomasz Raczek, who has been a curator, special guest and collaborator of the festival since 2013.

That year I shared the house with an old lady called Daniele, when I were studying aboard in France. She's over 70 years old, living more longer than anyone else in that house. One Friday morning, without seeing Daniele in the house after several days, all the tenants concluded that she is dead in her room.

“Solo” is a project in which the main character, played by Eneko Sagardoy, makes an introspection exercise and suggests a different view of loneliness. He wonders why we always insist on avoiding it, and sets the conclusion he ends up reaching.

Defying the rusty concepts of Hell and Heaven, a young girl introduces us to the “real” Great Beyond and what happens out there. Do not expect fairies in Heaven or monsters or fireballs in Hell.
