One of the important elements of the dokumentART festival is presenting the work of authors and film circles associated with the West Pomerania region. This year's program features not only two blocks dedicated to this topic – The Faces of Westpomeranian Cinema and Westpomeranian Shorts – but also a presentation of the work of the Westpomeranian Film Fund (ZFF) Pomerania Film. The fund was founded in 2009 and its goal is film education, the development of the film industry and work in the region, co-production through co-financing and organisational supporting of film productions, but also the cultural, tourist, and economic promotion of West Pomerania. Until now, the ZFF managed to financially support almost 40 films. One the fund's latest projects is the screening of Jacek Bromski's “Bilet na księżyc” (“Ticket To The Moon”) as an accompanying event of the 22nd dokumentART festival. Prior to the screening, which will be attended by the director and cast, the band Big Fat Mama will perform. The screening will be followed by a press conference with the filmmakers, which everyone is welcome to join.

Ticket to The Moon / Bilet na księżyc120'
Poland, 1969. The young boy Adam gets called up for service in the People's Army of Poland and is assigned to the Navy's submarine unit. With his older brother, Antoni, he sets out from Rzeszów to Świnoujście, where the unit is deployed. During the several-day trip they pay visits to their old friends and make new ones. This way, Antoni wants to prepare his brother for the tough military life. The plot is set against a background of late 60s' historic events, reported on by the media of the People's Republic of Poland era. “Ticket To The Moon” refers to the so-called road movie.

Director, screenwriter, producer, president of the Polish Filmmakers Association, expert on the audio-visual industry as well as copyright and film law. Author of films that are now classics of Polish cinema. He studied painting, Polish, and directing. He was the first chairman of the Polish Film Institute (PISF), member of the Cinematography Committee (Komitet Kinematografii), and vice-president of the the International Association of Audiovisual Authors (AIDAA). Founder of the Union of Audiovisual Authors and Producers (ZAPA), co-founder of the “Zebra” Film Studio. Laureate of many prestigious awards and national honours (the Medal for Merit to Culture – Gloria Artis and the Officer's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta).

Małgorzata Frymus
She is from Szczecin. Graduated from the Catholic University of Lublin and the PWSFTViT Film school in Łódź. Lecturer at the University of Szczecin. Journalist and reporter for Polish Radio Szczecin, deals mostly with culture topics. She worked with TVP Polish National Television (Szczecin branch). She made several TV programs and reportages. For years she has been working with the OFFicyna Association, the Zachęta Sztuki Współczesnej, and the Stowarzyszenie Ińskie Lato Filmowe. Celluloid Tales is her first documentary film.
