Blok tematyczny: Polish Documentary Classics
Another very important feature of dokumentART is the systematic presentation of Polish documentary classics. This part of the programme has included films by such eminent Polish filmmakers as Krzysztof Kieślowski, Jacek Bławut, Paweł Łoziński and Bogdan Dziworski as well as the work of Kazimierz Karabasz, co-founder of the so-called Polish school of the documentary. Bławut, Łoziński and Dziworski have been guests at the festival and the screening of Karabasz’s films was accompanied by a meeting with the author of a book on his work, Mikołaj Jazdon, who is a film scholar and director of the International Film Festival OFF Cinema.

September 27th, 1962. That day in the People's Republic of Poland nothing outstanding took place. And yet, there emerged an interesting story about a time that seems both distant and very familiar. The film's author spent over a year collecting the documentation.Source: filmpolski.plAuthors:
- Weightless57'
A fascinating film about Soviet astronautics. The author builds a feeling of enchantment with the cosmos and joy of dreams coming true – only to break it soon after, uncovering the secret of cruel medical experiments on humans and animals. The film reveals the tragedy of catastrophes and death, and ends with the bitterness of disappointment, meaninglessness, and emptiness.Source: filmpolski.plAuthors:
