With this film, Sam Mendes returns to the American suburbs again and reveals a sad, hidden truth. It takes place in the 1950s in Connecticut. A married couple living with two children dream of a big world and going to Paris. They both want to free themselves from the provincial everyday life. Great creations created by Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio.

In 1999, he made his debut with the film “American Beauty,” the picture delighted viewers and critics all over the world. Sam Mendes has made many very successful films: “Road to Perdition,” “Jarhead,” “Revolutionary Road,” and the excellent war drama “1917”. The director also made two spectacular works about the adventures of James Bond (“Skyfall” and “Spectre”).
